ICT has improved communication when filipinos needed it the most. Radyo Veritas helped success of the People Power Revolution. Text brigades helped in the success of EDSA Dos. Social media sites like Faceook helped in success of the Million People March. Finally, technologies like the People finder helped during comfort to families looking for their loved ones during calamities like Yolanda.

• People Power Revolution - a major protest that took place along EDSA from February 22 to 25, 1986 involving two million Filipinos form different sectors
• Radyo Veritas - a radio station used  by Cardinal Sin to encourage people to en the regime of former President Marcos
• Million People March -  a series of protest that mainly took place in Luneta Park  form August 22 to 26, 2013. It was fueled by online campaigns
• EDSA Dos - a major protest  after prosecutors of former President Estrada walked out of the impeachment trial in 2001 .

Change.org is dubbed as the '' world's platform for change'' where anyone form the online community can create a petition and ask others sign it. It also gives access  to more people by allowing the online community to affix their digital signatures on a petition and Change.org;s mission is to help people form the world to create the change they want to see

Summary of Lesson 10: Interactive Multimedia

Modern websites add multimedia content sacrificing  too much bandwidth This done to give the site visitor a way to interact with what is on website.Multimedia Content could range from videos, sound, online browser-based games, online tests, courseware, podcasts, and vodcasts.

• Multimedia -  Uses multiple media contents like videos, sounds, applications, etc.
• Courseware - online courses that simulate the classroom online.
• Podcast - an episodic series of audio or text files streamed online.
• Vodcast - an episodic series of videos streamed online.
• Embed - to place an object form one site to another.

Most websites you see today have embedded Youtube videos on them. To remedy the problem that not everyone has fast internet connection, these Youtube videos can be set to be played ''on-demand'' rather than having them played automatically.

Summary Of Lesson 9: Collaborative ICT Development

A web portal is a website that contains information from different sources and places them in one location. Portal a set of portlets. Online collaboration lets a group of people work together in real time over the internet. Working together does not necessarily mean you have to be physically together.

Members- tags members on the card
Labels- adds labels found on the top of the card
Position- Arranges the position of the card in relation to the other cards

There are plenty of online collaborative tools that an organization or group to communicate through the use of the internet. Facebook Groups, Wordpress, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office Online, Yammer, and Trello can all be used as a tool for online collaboration. Trello introduces boards where any member of the organization or group can see the different tasks for a certain project. Trello is a free service.

           WYSIWYG is the acronym for What You See Is What You Get. This means that whatever you type, insert, draw, place, rearrange, and everything you do on page is what the audience will see A good example of creating your website is Jimdo is WYSIWYG web hosting service. It offers free, professional, and business web hosting services. Editing elements of Jimdo is move element up, Move element down, delete element, copy element, and drag tool. For image options is sizing tool, align tools, rotate tools, view tool, and other tools.

           Jimdo has many tools and elements like image, paragraph, adding elements and site settings. It will allow you to sell your product online, create your own photo gallery, add videos, and many more. You can also maximize search engines by properly tagging your site

Summary Of Lesson 7: Online Platforms for ICT Content Development

   Online platforms that you can use are social media platforms and blogging platforms. Social Media platforms websites like facebook allow you to create not only personal account but also pages and groups where you can share content. Blogging Platforms websites like Wordpress, Tumblr, and Blogger focus on content and design.

          A Content Management System (CMS) is a computer application (sometimes online or browser-based) that allows you to publish, edit and manipulate, organize and delete web content. Cloud computing applications are those that do not need any installation and are readily aviable over the internet. When we created infographics, we used Piktochart and its infographic editor uses cloud computing. Cloud computing has its pros and cons, but it is up to us on what we want and how we want to use it

        Creating a web page is like creating a work of art.Basic principles of graphics layout it includes balance, emphasis,movement, pattern, repetition, proportion, and variety. Balance is the visual weight of objects, texture, colors, and space is evenly distributed to the screen. Emphasis an area in the design that may appear different size, texture, shape or color to attract the viewer's attention. Movement is the guide to the viewers eyes in the screen .Pattern, Repetition, and Rhythm is the layout to create unity in the layout or image. Proportion is to create a sense of unity where they relate well with one another. Last but not least the variety this uses several design elements to draw a viewer's attention
        

          Infographics are used to represent information, statistical data, or knowledge in a graphical manner usually done in a creative way to attract the viewer's attention it also make complex data become more visually appealing to an average user. The most visited website in the world is Google because is to organize the world's information and  make it universally accessible and useful.
